Introduction To Jill Medina, Author

I am a Christian who is a wife, mother, homeschooler, researcher of the Last Days/End Times and New World Order, and writer, who has survived sexual abuse. 

I am currently writing up the rough draft for my memoir detailing what I have gone through in my life. I plan to use this blog for updates on my book (make sure to check in here often!) and for writing about things that we are currently going through here in Babylon. 

What I'm writing about is very personal. It has been like opening up a wound and digging around in it, removing all the infected tissue that I've been carrying around and had festering for so long. It is time for me to bring to light the abuse I've suffered from family members and in relationships with men throughout my young adult life. 

My purpose is to inform people that these things do happen to people, even Christians. I want my voice to finally be heard after nearly 40 years of silence. And I want my readers to know they aren't alone, and that there is strength and hope through our Lord Jesus Christ. 

I am a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Restored (not to be confused with the LDS Mormons). Much of what I write about is tied into my beliefs and what has happened to me has partly occurred in the church, and I will be writing about some members who have abused me. 

Everyone's identity has been changed (ie.: names of people and places.) and some situations I did have to change to not reveal the identities of people in my book; all the while maintaining the truthfulness and integrity of my story.
